You can save 50% on theatre tickets by getting an annual theatre pass. I only found out about this recently because of looking for reviews for a play at Manchester Opera House.
You pay an annual fee and get 50% off some tickets, latest info, deals posted to your email, priority tickets, free ticket exchanges, free cloakroom usage and 10%off drinks at the bar (which is great cos usually they are a bit pricey).
You can also upgrade to gold membership which entitles you to free drinks on arrival as well as all the other perks listed above.
It's a great idea if you are sick of the telly and want to have a fun, sociable experience instead.
I really recommend doing this if you are a bit of a theatre buff or you just want to do something different.
