It isn't cash, it's sent direct to your electricity supplier.

You quality for the Warm Home Discount if you matched the following criteria:
You qualify for the discount if on 10 July 2016 all of the following applied:
your electricity supplier was part of the scheme
your name (or your partner’s) was on the bill
you were getting the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit (even if you get Savings Credit as well)

If you're eligible for the Government Warm Home Discount, you can claim by doing the following.
First, if you're eligible, the Government says it will send you a letter by 16th December.
If you don't get a letter from the Government, you can get in touch with the Warm Home Discount Team if you think you qualify:
