Ricky6981 I used to work at Poundland and if I remember correctly it wasn't because everything cost £1, that wasn't the idea of the name, it was because everything was in the pounds so none of these £1.25 items or 99p etc that you get now. It was all down to everything being rounded to the pound, Poundland is different to £1land
Ricky6981 probably not now as everything doesn't end in a £1 as there's items that are like £1.25/1.50/1.75 etc
