This expression from The Balvenie tells the tale of distillery manager Ian Millar, who spotted a free week in the distillery's schedule and decided to experiment! After a recent visit to Islay, Millar decided to order a batch of Speyside peat for the kiln and build a peat burner on the side 'for, well, extra peatiness'. Part of The Balvenie Stories collection, this release is aged for 14 years and bottled at 48.3% abv.
