How to buy your £1 ticket online
Go to www.buytickets.northernrailway.co.uk/ or download our free app to book your Northern journey. Choose the station you are leaving from and the station you are going to, including the date of travel - this must be between Tuesday 6 September and Thursday 20 October 2022. Select time and return journey if required. Click 'Search', select the tickets you wish to buy and checkout.
Not traveled by train for years but would love to go see my son in Birmingham so I will check this out see ifs possible to go cheaply with this offer, Thank you for sharing

Can someone tell me if they have managed to book for £1 , what destination did you use . I am struggling
minniedzii same here I've tried Newcastle to multiple stops however never finds any tickets no matter what destination I put in 
I have purchased a few, try big station to big station... Sheffield > Leeds or Leeds > York for example.
I know these are fantastic deals from Northern Rail, but I wish it was nation wide. Great offer though.
