Mai Thai "AAA" Fragrant Jasmine Rice (5kg) - Soft, Sticky texture
Description
Jasmine Fragrant Rice has proven so popular with Restaurants and Caterers. Made from AAA Quality Thai Fragrant Jasmine Rice, scented rice is a worldwide favourite. It's not only great flavour, but great value too! Jasmine rice is originally from Thailand and is commonly used in Southeast Asian cooking. This is a long grain variety of rice that has a subtle floral aroma and a soft, sticky texture when cooked. The grains are also shorter and thicker than basmati rice.
Ingredients: Jasmine Rice
Cooking Instructions:
1) Rinse rice in cold water. Place in a saucepan of boiling water.
2) Reduce to a simmer. Cook until rice is tender.
3) Once cooked, remove from the heat, drain and leave to stand for 3 minutes.
4) Serve hot and do not reheat. Cooking appliances may vary. These instructions are given as a guide.
Storage Instructions: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep tightly closed.

We are regular rice eaters in our household and judging by the poor reviews I'll stick to the more expensive brands, nice offer though.
this is really an excellent deal. It's good value for money, and thanks for letting us know about it
Time to stock up. They used to cost £5 but now everything has gone up in price so £5.75 is a good price. Thanks for sharing
White polished rice , very high glycemic index and devoid of nutrients. I only buy Wild rice or coloured rice now as protein and antioxidant content much higher. Quinoa, Teff and Farro much better than white polished rice . Also Basmati rice made in Bangladesh full of arsenic so needs to be soaked first to get rid of high arsenic content. Also aromatic Jasmine and Basmati rice is magnet for rats and mice.
