Paypal is having a promotion by offering you to earn £5 per person you refer and upto 10 people. So overall you can earn £50.

And if you don't have account you can earn extra £5 after your first payment by Paypal if you create an account & use it to pay within 2 weeks of receiving invitation.

So, simply put both you and your referred friend receives £5 each.
