H&M Member: Everything You Need To Know About The Loyalty Scheme
H&M Membership is the retailer’s loyalty programme. It’s free to join, and you’ll get a range of perks on your shopping. If you shop at H&M at all, you should be an H&M Member. In this guide we’ll break down how to join, what you get, and how to maximise your membership perks.
What is H&M Membership?
H&M Membership is the reward scheme for H&M. It’s free to sign up and members get rewards on their shopping.
Whether you shop at H&M frequently, or you pop in for the occasional item, you should be an H&M Member.
How do you sign up for H&M Membership?
You can join H&M Membership here.
You’ll need to fill in your details and choose a password to set up your H&M account.
Once you’ve signed up, you can download the H&M app and log in. In the app, you’ll find your digital membership card.
H&M Member Rewards
As an H&M Member you’ll get a great selection of perks and rewards on your shopping. You can find all your rewards either online by logging into your account, or by downloading and signing into the H&M app.
Some of the best ones you can make the most of include:
H&M points
You’ll earn H&M points on your shopping when you scan your digital membership card at checkout, or you’re logged into your Member account when shopping online.
For every £1 you spend, you’ll earn 1 point, and 100 points equals a £3 voucher you can spend in H&M stores or at H&M online. Effectively it's 3% cashback.
You can also earn extra points by recommending H&M Membership to your friends and family. If they sign up with your referral link, you’ll get bonus points.
Your £3 voucher will appear on your account, either on the app or if you’re signed in to your account on the H&M website. If you want to use the voucher on your purchase, you can activate it by selecting ‘add to bag’ for online purchases, or ‘activate in store’ for purchases in H&M stores.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you have activated your voucher, you have a limited window of fifteen minutes to use it. If you don’t use it within the timeframe, you will lose the voucher. So, make sure you don’t activate it until you’re ready to use it.
H&M Plus Member
Once you’ve earned 300 points, you’ll automatically be upgraded to an H&M Plus Member. This will get you extra benefits, including free delivery on all orders with no minimum spend, surprise offers, exclusive access to new collections and exclusive experiences.
H&M discount codes and offers
As an H&M Member, you’ll also get exclusive discount codes and offers.
For example, when you sign up to H&M Membership, you’ll get a 10% H&M discount code off your first purchase as a member. You’ll also get a 25% off voucher on your Birthday to spend on your favourite H&M item.
As an H&M member, you’ll also receive exclusive offers throughout the year, including vouchers, multibuy offers and more.
Special prices and bonus offers
As an H&M Member, you will also get access to special prices on selected items, early access to sales, and be eligible to enter competitions. You’ll also get free delivery on orders over £20, and free Click and Collect on orders over £20.
As well as this, you will also get exclusive offers from partner retailers. For example, at the time of writing this guide, you could get 20% off food at Prezzo, or 65% off your first HelloFresh box.
Is it worth becoming an H&M Member?
Yes! If you shop at H&M at all, you should become an H&M member.
Even if you’re making a one-off purchase, you’ll get 10% off just for signing up, and regular shoppers can build up their points to earn vouchers.
H&M is an affordable highstreet retailer, so if you can save money on top of reasonable prices, it’s a no brainer.
As well as vouchers on your birthday and the vouchers you earn through points, H&M also do random offers exclusive for members, for example 20% off a single item. So, once you’ve signed up, it’s worth keeping an eye on the offers section of the H&M app.
For Latest Deals members, the best part about being an H&M Member, is the delivery. As a member you’ll get free delivery when you spend £20, but once you earn 300 points and become an H&M Plus Member, you’ll get free delivery on all orders with no minimum spend.
