My usb c laptops don't work unless charger greater than 100w . Now I only buy Power Delivery 3.1 PPS chargers which can provide Upto 140w. Use this and get a warning on most laptops, insufficient power supply.
It's a fairly low power USB type C charger its not universal. Universal laptop chargers exist and they usually have multiple DC connections, polarity switching and a range of output DC voltages so they can work with a very wide range of laptops. This sounds actually quite limited to only low power laptops with USB C connections which surely is a tiny subset of the laptop market.
