6 Chips a Portion?

News

no way! have never ever stopped at only 6 chips, apart from the time I went to some fancy restaurant where they probably only served about 6 chips in total

Ridiculous, I can eat triple that when I'm starving! I suppose the bloke has a point since it's full of carbs and whatnot... A salad would be healthier I suppose, cheers!

lol I couldn't even count how many I scoff in one sitting - and I always want more! Salad is not fun - definitely more a chips person than anything else 😋

I get fed up with these people who tell you should not eat this or that because, its bad for you. My dad grow in the world time. And you had very little choice what to eat It was a fry up of sorts. Or a soup with out much meat. So I say eat what you want it's your body . And you know charges to your body . These people telling us what to eat are on the large size them self and i not do think they will cut back and eat healthy like they are saying we should do. It's all wrong . Hspexy if you in joy your chips you eat them and in joy them. 🎄🎅🤶

Exactly my mum was the healthiest person alive , she was a Thai Chi Master, worked out at the gym and she was 73 , swam , worked for charity she was non stop - refused to have a microwave at home as she thought the waves damage you and avoided lots of other so called "bad" foods and she always ate the healthiest of foods but still died of cancer like my dad who was also a scratch golfer sportsman , gymnast an ex footballer - fit as a fiddle and active every day.

My advice - forget all the advice - eat what you want and keep yourself as healthy as you can by exercising because the BIG "C" doesnt obey anyones rules and once it has you in its sights it matters not what you eat, how often you exercise or anything else!

I agree - you only get one life, and you should enjoy it a much as you can. There is certainly too much nonsense these days (always good to be informed of the dangers, but should never lead to outright bans of things, especially when it comes to food that people have been enjoying for generations)

Like my grandma used to say... One potato per person...

let's hope the potato was a big potato, opposed to those little baby potatoes! 😜

That really isn't a realistic amount. If I went to my local chippie and only got 6 chips I wouldn't be very impressed 🍟

lol with the prices of a portion of chips these days, it would certainly make me demand for my money back!

If the fish is huge, I do not mind if I have less potatoes...

that's true, but I have the feeling that someone will point out that we should not be battering and deep frying a fish ...

If I'm making some chips at home, I'll probably eat more in the kitchen before I serve the dinner on the plates 😂🤣😂
