Have you ever looked back and wished you had chosen another path workwise? I spent 26 years in a job before retirement. Fine for the first 10 years but so much changed and I then felt trapped into staying for the pension. I love teaching and am always chatting to the kids I now work with, unable to stop myself teaching them things. I would have been a teacher (history) but not in today's schools with no discipline.

Not once you are retired. It's hard enough getting a menial job as no one wants to take on old people despite government pushing back retirement age. I indulge myself now by studying my passion for history in reading, visiting places of interest etc and maybe that's for the best. If I had done it as a job it may not have been as I imagine.
