Where do you prefer to shop and any reasoning behind your choice?
Sometimes Amazon doesn't have the cheapest prices so I check sellers on ebay just in case.
Ebay is cheapest without doubt
For sellers both are awful
For buyers Amazon is great but is more expensive
The only reason i use Amazon is because i have made over £500 in amazon vouchers from shopping scanners and online surveys so its just sitting there waiting to be spent otherwise 99% of my spending would be on ebay!
Funny thing is i cant really find anything to buy - i have everything i want - ie a lovely , smart, intelligent , handsome, sauve and sophisticated boyfriend lol

Most of the Chinese stuff isnt actually rubbish its just as good as UK stuff!
I stick with amazon, no.1 comes close to them when it comes to dealing with hassle free returns and customer service! Yes ebay is cheaper on some items but when it arrives you soon realize why when it lasts only one week!
I have only used Amazon on a few occasions when I couldn't find what I wanted on Ebay (usually DVDs) the last time I used Amazon I was sold counterfeit goods - I didn't even get my money back.
With Ebay I feel sure the money would have been back in my Paypal account within minutes of reporting the matter, judging by how fast they've dealt with things where goods didn't arrive etc.
I don't really approve of the way smaller items with Amazon are dispatched from the Channel Islands to avoid VAT. It gives them a very unfair advantage over stores in the UK who can't do that. They're part of the reason why shops like HMV are struggling to survive or are no longer on the high streets.
hmmmm I've never had items sold directly from Amazon dispatched from the Channel Islands. 99% of my orders come from UK mainland warehouses according to the tracking info, even smaller items. The 1% come from France, Germany or Spain warehouses, depending on stock I suppose.
Maybe you purchased from marketplace sellers unknowingly, make sure you purchase from 'dispatched from and sold by Amazon'.
Where are you based? Maybe Amazon ships items from locations closer to home?
Generally - whichever is cheapest 
I'll usually check both Amazon and eBay and a few other stores to see what the cheapest price is (including postage).
