Is Amazon Getting on Your Nerves Too?
Ask a Question
I have been member of amazon since 2009 and a very regular since 3 years but this whole month, with each and every delivery, amazon is getting on my nerve. Either they didn't deliver at all ot left parcel somewhere else and few times sent wrong sizes too.
I am wondering if its a regional issue or national now?
Never had a problem myself and I use them very regularly.
Only issue I've had is them leaving the gate open even though we've got two 'PLEASE SHUT THE GATE' signs on it
It's been great always and I think it was worth paying for prime but last 3 weeks are unexplainable.
WindowShopper Maybe you've just had a bad picker/courier.
What has customer services had to say?
Not just you, I've been having loads of problems, either not waiting for me to get to the door, wrong items sent, wrong size, not turning up at all etc
I can relate It's so annoying and I am seriously thinking to leave to stop paying for prime now.
I paid for prime for a while, now I pick up from my nearest pick up point. It saves me both money and from stress.
Not had any issues myself - but I wonder if they are having to bring in lots of extra temporary staff to fill in gaps due to pingdemic. Cant image they are any less affected by the issue than anyone else.
Dont bother going onto it unless I really need to buy something which is not that often. It doesnt get on my nerves but just bored of it.
Yes they annoy me in many ways, some may have comment on my post about delivery charges they try and force on you by default, but sadly often can't find things elsewhere in such a convenient way....
Come to think of it Amazon didn't bring several of my sub and save items this month, about four out of stock and three chocolate,we can't deliver because it's summer....but we can if you pay full price!
If they didn't deliver then I would think it was the courier. We have the same one most times. When doing my job I often see parcels outside peoples house, in clear view of crooks.
The only issue we have had lately is when we are expecting a package we don't get the notification email, I have to look at the actual orders to see what time they are coming. Pretty minor. I had thought it was a new policy but for yesterdays delivery I had an email with the time banding - even though it was altered later in the day...
As much as dislike some of their ethics I always find Amazon to be reliable and at the end of the day it is the couriers that are normally a fault where issues are about delivery. Use the feedback option to complain and that will be traced back to them
I ordered a super king size duvet set and a single turned up. Spoke to customer services and they said to return and order again. They also said they would notify the warehouse and let them know to get the right size. Second time again a single set arrived, again same advice. 3rd time the packaging said super king size but it turned out too be too too big. I gave up after that lol
I had to change my son's nightwear about 5 times to get it right every time I got 7, 8 years old instead of 13.
WindowShopper it just gets worse before it gets better. At least they got yours right in the end.
I find it very frustrating when you search for an item it brings up loads but not what you wanted. Also Amazon does not filter from high to low. Then I’ll just leave the site.
