Amazon Refunds the Difference - Portal TV

We bought a Portal TV for my in-laws for Xmas and noticed it’s been reduced again by £30. Did a quick webchat with amazon saying as we are still within the returns dates we could reorder and send original back or to save the hassle of them processing a return and delivering another, could they just refund the difference...and they did. 4-5 min webchat and money was refunded.
I’ve had this happen a few times, it’s always worth keeping an eye on prices after you purchase with amazon.
Fair play, Amazon CS are very good.
I got refunded for 12 cans of shandy yesterday and got to keep them because the ingredients listed on the webpage were wrong.
They usually try to keep the customers happy. A happy customer will continue to shop with them, which will help them dominate the marketplace
