Other

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife, MacKenzie, are to divorce after a 25-year marriage. It all seems to be very amicable atm

He has an estimated wealth of $137bn - should she be entitled to half?

It is difficult to answer such a question because we do not know about their personal lives. We do not know how she helped on this Amazon journey so far. But in my opinion, if they built it together, it would make perfect sense. But Amazon is a publicly-held company on the stock exchange, probably its fortune is very much based on the value of its stock of the company, which may rise or fall, depending on the financial market and the company's results.

from what I have read, she did provide him with a lot of financial as well s emotional support in the beginning of the business, and as they have parted amicably, there is no real reason why he won't give her a large chunk of money (most divorce bills are often thrashing matches, so it doesn't look like this one will be). But as you have stated, amazon is bigger than him, so getting half of his worth is too much. I am sure she would still love a cushy life with a 10th of that amount

He started the business from their garage, selling books and she supported him and pushed him to build the business. He is worth a lot of money, £140 billion and it is up to them how they divide the money

it all comes down to what is fair, I suppose. If she has sole custody of the kids, she will want more for child maintenance

hspexy from the news articles I saw it said they were grown up but I could have read it wrong. I'm sure they all got the benefit from his billions over the years.

I'm sure if he gave it all to her today, he would still survive easily and another billion would pop up in his account by next week
