The oldest legible sentence ever written is apparently about headlice. It was found etched on a very old ivory nit comb in an ancient Canaanite language. The inscription reads: “May this tusk root out the lice of the hair and the beard.” Archaeologists say the prehistoric pest control, found at a site in southern Israel, was probably made about 3,700 years ago.

I can not believe this is the first sentence ever written, can aa Nit e language sounds Scottish.
