Has Anyone Lost a Cat?
Ask a Question
Tried everything else - I thought I'd ask here.
Omg, davidstockport is that you pranking us or a poster put up by a genuine dimwit!?
Lynibis That's a strange name for a cat - I did try the name Brock as you suggested but he just made a low pitched growl and wouldn't come. He seems a really nasty sod... the mice won't stand a chance.
Hi davidstockport if you can get him to a vet they will scan the cat to see if it's micro chipped. If he is the owns details will be on the computer. And you cat sounds like a female not a male. Male cats are very qutie. If you got any toilet rolls or kitchen rolls give to the cat to play with. And don't give it milk they get very bad tummy up sets. You get cats milk it's were the cat food is kepted. And mix his food with tin and biscture if you got a box big enough and a old blanket give it to him . And he might use and it will hope fully setly him. Then he knows that s his box's.
nicolajaynehend Thanks for that Nicola - it's really set my mind at ease. It has been suggested it's not a cat and I was almost beginning to believe them. (Thought I was losing it).
It is a strange cat I let it out in the garden (I kept it on a lead so it didn't get lost again) it started digging holes, as many cats do, but instead of then doing what I thought he'd do he started eating the worms. Still it will save me buying cat food if he can find enough worms.
I'm reasonably certain it's a Tom cat most females like me but this little sod seems to hate me, I've got to put my wicket keeping gloves and safety goggles on before I go anywhere near him.
Hi davidstockport I feel sorry for you .I've never had cat like it. I've never had cat eat worms be for. It sounds like he is a wild cat. Do let's us know what happens. And you are doing right by the gloves and goggles. And make sure your arms are covered. Because one scare for the cat could make you unwell. We were once at a friend's house and the cat clad my day. Next day he was poorly. So just go care full
nicolajaynehend Someone suggested he was a badger but we don't get badgers round here, I've never seen one - but recall from my childhood that Bill the Badger in the Rupert books walked upright this cat doesn't.
Hi davidstockport why would they say he was a badger. Use to love reading Rupert the bear when I was a child. Love the books. Is it his markings that .making him look like a badger. But like I said earlier I've never seen a cat dig for worms. That's very odd.
nicolajaynehend I tend to think those who think he's a badger haven't looked at his picture too carefully - here's a better one... anyone can see he's a cat.
nicolajaynehend As I've said to BW07 - I've been calling him "Cooking Fat" it's a name my father used to call our cat when I was a child. Whenever he came home drunk and tripped over him we could hear him shouting "get from under my feet you Cooking Fat".
Hi davidstockport the photo look so cute. I can't get over that he is couseing you all this trouble.
Oi this is my cat, cant believe i took it to a show and tell at the school dressed as a badger, poor thing. At least it will be warm though. Does eat dog food if you leave it around and responds to the name dam.
I knew it was a cat - when I found him he was eating some cat food I'd put out for a neighbour's cat while they were away, you say you call him dam - when you get him back you might find he responds to the name "Cooking Fat" I've been calling him something that sounds very similar.
I knew the name was wearing off. All from a little shouty moment some time ago. There you are you dammed cat.
Looks just like a cat that I have had go walkabouts, ever since I mentioned taking HER to a school for World Book day as a character from Wind In The Willows. If she has started eating worms though, please feel free to keep her
Well, my grandma had a female cat on her farm but she went somewhere and never came back. Sucks, she was pretty adorable.
Anyway, that pic. lol
Please do not laugh at pictures of my cat - well not really MY cat - just a cat I'm stuck with until his cowardly rightful owner claims him.
