Apple Tree Pest Help!

Ask a Question

Can anyone help? My apples trees are being plagued with these insects and developing black spots. Does anyone know if they are salvageable and exactly why this is happening? Thanks

At first I thought it was a ladybird variety and probably not the cause of the problem but I can't find anything like it. As your picture is so clear I would suggest you show this at your nearest garden centre who would probably identify it very quickly. The black spots could be scab or some other fungal disease and will need spraying. Again, best advice would be from you local garden centre.
