I use spotify free, but it does tempt me into buying the premium. Apple is too pricey and not all the music or tracks comes under the subscription, you may have to pay extra for brand new latest music.

Jeffa I have never wanted a song from Apple Music that has not been covered by the subscription. I don’t know where you heard that some music isn’t covered. I’ve never heard or experienced it.

I had both. Spotify has more songs, more playlists, more users, better suggestions. The only thing Apple had is lyrics in every song right beneath the play options.

I wouldn't give Apple a penny of my money.

I do use Spotify free every so often for podcasts, but that's about it.

I know I'm not addressing your question correctly but I use Tidal. Yes at £19.99 per month it's at the higher end but the advantage of Tidal of offering the best sound quality of most if not all streaming music sites. Just worth a thought/consideration

dawarwick £19.99? 😲

That's quite steep.

What are the advantages over Apple or Spotify? Is it just the sound quality?

I use Apple Music and personally think it is fairly expensive for the usage I get out of it, which is not a lot - although that’s down the me personally, if others were to use it more then perhaps they would get their money’s worth. I have always wondered how much spotify is and if it is very reliable in finding the songs that you want? Apple Music is really easy to use and I haven’t had any issues finding the songs I have wanted to download.
