Can You Beat This One , £141 worth of Food for Just £7 ?
Ask a Question
This woman bought £141 worth of food for just £7 because she was shopping at the right time
This was on the 24th december and at Morrisons
Most of the items were reduced to 20p
The bargains included ten boxes of sausage rolls, 30 halloumi fries and even a pineapple
I hope she had room in her freezer for everything
Can you beat that ?

I wouldn’t want those items even at 20p so she’s welcome to them. Hope her family enjoy it.
I have had bargains like this in the past but you have to be careful that you are actually going to use them and as mentioned that you room in your freezer. Plus it does look a bit selfish taking that amount in one shop.
eyeballkerry Thats true E, but if nobody buys them by the end of the day they get chucked away ,so better someone takes them
telmel In our Tesco a chap comes most nights and I think they give it to him for a charity. Also I have noticed on local social sites people collect it and offer it free to others.
That's all very well but suppose she had gone and found none of those bargains? Sounds like she had inside information!
Wow if she can use them good for her. Jealous. I use my franchise Morrison for reduced but it's not that good
Wow that's great for her problem I have most of the deals I see no one in my house will eat
I went into Morrisons on New Years Eve and got some decent offers and huge reductions in addition to normal priced shopping. Certainly didn't get £140 of stuff for £7 perhaps part of the shop was £30 of shopping for £4. Unfortunately my freezer is absolutely packed at the moment so I have to be careful what I buy and work out the ratio between what has gone down my throat and what I can buy to fill the gaps in the freezer.
My mother in law works at Sainsbury's mini shop, she regularly get things for us for 5 or 10p, we've had loads of stuff
I did get a turkey crown in Sainsbury reduced from £80 to £10, would never have paid the full price but happy with £10 and that's now in the freezer ready for our Easter dinner.
This is fantastic value and good for her but looking at the photo in the article, most of that food was processed/junk food so not for me
Got loads of lovely plants in Waitrose today.Tulips, peppers and winter specials..over £50 worth for less than a tenner. Can't eat em tho.
It would give me anxiety to leave my Christmas dinner and snacks to the very last minute hoping for a bargain. Well done to those with the nerve to wait and win
This is a once in a lifetime find tbh, i could eat off that haul for like 3 months i think
Husband had to go to Lidl last Christmas eve to get a turkey crown, had a disaster with the first one. Got it for £3. There was loads of orange sticker stuff but we didn't have room for it.
I once got £830.00 worth of fresh food, mainly cheese , which I grated then froze for £80.00
