Sometimes working jobs we haven't liked have taught us the best tips for getting through life. For me, waitering tables taught me as a customer, it's always in our best interest to try and work with the waiter. They want things to run smoothly too. How about you?

My job wasn't bad but what it taught me was that ignorant and rude people generally get their own way and polite quiet types don't. Anyone who has worked in a public facing job will probably have seen this time and time again.
