Best Cheap Present You Have Received?

Ask a Question

What's the best cheap present you've ever received?

When I was little, I would use my own spending money to get my dad a chocolate orange and he was so so happy with it, I love those memories.

I love home made presents from my grandkids. I keep them all. As well as the Christmas decorations they make at school/nursery

suevernon1968 We were the same with homemade presents and cards from our nieces. We still have them all here. They're all grown up now.

TheChimp I’m glad I’m not the only sentimental person on here. My mum used to keep everything we made too.

suevernon1968 My parents still dig out my sister's and my decorations that we made in primary school in the early 70s. They'll be on the mantle piece again this year 🤣

suevernon1968 I love the ones my daughter makes! This year it's a wooden bauble that she has decorated and it's hanging on the tree.

I got a little book mark with a parrot on it which probably cost like 50p but it’s one of my favourite things in the world.

Many years ago my cracker contained a pair of nail clippers. These are still being used by us all.

I used to love buying my mum and nans Christmas presents. I wouldn’t have had a lot of money but I remember always buying them all a calendar and I would always get my mum a bag of green bath salts, that when wrapped up felt like a bag of peas.

My husband found an old video of our wedding with my dad who had passed away 27 years ago, he stopped the video on a facial shot of my smiling dad he took a photo & had it developed put into a photo frame, I cried when I opened my present, most thoughtful best cherished present ever!
