Best Holiday Destination in the UK
Other
Having been through 2 COVID Summers, I have realised what a beautiful country we live in.
I have had the pleasure of visiting some lovely Counties plus Edinburgh.
I am still not quite comfortable on flying abroad yet so am now on my third summer in the UK
Which will be in Cromer Norfolk.
Might as well come to SW Wales like the rest of the country. It's a lovely place to visit, but don't be as rude as other holidaymakers,we don't like it.
I was on holiday in Cromer a couple of weeks and I must say I was impressed. Although stoney the beaches are huge and if you are driving we found a lovely beach between Cromer and Hunstanton with free parking. Parking is also free along Cromer sea front although gets busy. We also found one of Bankseys artworks on a beach wall. From Cromer we went for a night out to the corn exchange in Kingslynn and spent a day down in the Norfolk broads area. We did go on the Cromer pier but was really windy the day we went so we walked along the beach and that’s when we found the Banksey artwork.
To carry on from your question, I am now in Lanzarote and this is my third holiday abroad since restrictions have been lifted. Each one has had different regulations. We only had wear masks on the plane going out and masks are not being worn out here. No different from being at home.
We used to live 8 miles outside of Edinburgh, we had an amazing view from our kitchen window.
We won't be going on holiday this year but we normally went to Bangor in Northern Ireland to visit family. There are lots of beautiful places to visit there.
MrsCraig I love Edinburgh my brother lives there and took us to some lovely places including the beach
jillylovesyou Portobello beach is beautiful. We lived on a hill so could see Arthur's seat, the castle, the firth of forth, the bridges. Edinburgh is lovely, but I rarely went there, even though I lived so close.
I think we're very lucky in the UK although the weather isn't always great there are many beautiful areas worth exploring throughout the country. I'd like the explore the lake district.
Midnightflower the Lake District is beautiful. I stayed at Bowness on Windermere
