What is the Best Money Saving Tip You Can Share
Help
At this time of year everyone needs to save as much as they can. can anyone share the best tips to make January a lot less painful

Don't waste food, use up leftovers. Put on a jumper rather than upping the degrees on the heating. Be quick in the shower. Make sure the washing machine/dishwasher has a full load before use. Don't buy items you don't really need. Give up smoking, £10 per day.....really? And after the excess of Xmas not a bad idea to give up the booze too, especially if you drink too much, no one needs to drink every day. Now I will get off my soapbox.

- Don't buy stuff you don't need
- Don't buy junk food
Just buy what's essential for your life (food, rent, electricity, water, gas, phone/internet, etc).

live within your means.. list and use what you need to buy, your priorities.. you must know what you need and what you want.. don't be an impulsive buyer... check on good deals/vouchers/discounts = compare prices but remember to not sacrifice quality while doing all the savings... try saving first before spending... don't forget to treat/pamper yourself once in awhile... give up things that doesn't do you any good..

Charity starts at home so instead of throwing away stuff, sell on eBay and Depop. Every little bit helps!

Yes very easy. don't spend more on your credit card than what you can actually pay back in order to avoid paying extortionate interest rates.

Save money on travel to work if you can. For example ask your employer to buy you an annual tube or train season ticket and deduct the money monthly from your salary. You will save loads!

Buy what is only u need and important. Use cash do not use credit card, have a budget per week. Just limit the heating temperature in the room that is not use like bedroom during the day. Much best only living room as all family stays there for movie or tea time.
