Ask a Question
We really want to visit England this year with the children, we always go abroad but eldest will be starting GCSE's, whats the best places you and been and why
Its full of English people so no thanks lol
I went to Portmeirion last year - very disappointing very rundown and they did not like my review on Tripadvisor at all lol
Visited Conwy castle and some other Welsh castle first it was ok and found out that guy Drew Pritchard was a right violent drunk from some of the locals - apparently he caused a few fights at the local pub and is persona non grata with a lot of the locals so there you go a bit of the local goss - funny he always seems such a nice baldy bloke on the tv - so there you go i always follow my motto - TRUST NO 1 ...especially if they are a so called celeb!
And we do class Wales as England up here in Haggisland lol
I do have fond memories of Blackpool but i hear the Pleasure beach is now a fortune to get into and the town is a bit dodgy at night now - More used condom and tampon beach so i hear now - how sad!
When I was stationed at RAF ST. Mawghan in Cornwall it was a nice place to visit - really hot in summer almost liket he Algarve so i can recommend that gaff but if you really want to see toppo quality places you need to come to Scotland - we are the best!
London well when I was a police officer i worked there and lasted 2 weeks - my idea of hell on earth - some of the nastiest up themselves people i have ever met and so dangerous at night - i remember getting the subway each night back to my hotel and the young girls would move from their seats to sit next to me - I thought i was because i was perhaps hot stuff to the Engleesh ladeees ....until i realised it was because i had my Police uniform on and it was probably a safer place to sit lol
ShellyWilliams If i can bring one smile to one person per day then its been a good day - glad you enjoy the truth of my disastrous life - i could write a book - what am i saying i already did and it went down the toilet lol
If i told you about the first week in my job as a police officer you would not believe me - suffice to say i smacked the patrol car into a hotel gate in Aberdeen on my first week, threw a cigarette end out of the patrol car and it blew in the back window and set the rear seats on fire - i tried to disguise it but the seats were black and the foam was yellow - hard to disguise but the piesta resistance was my Aberdeen hotel - i feel asleep in the bath with the shower on and flooded the room - i woke up and to my horror the water had reached the room door and was leaking into the hallway so i had to use all the towels in the room to mop up the water and turned the heaters up full blast so i was sweating like a pig , panicking and running around all night until 8am in the morning trying vainly to dry it up before the cleaners arrived - i then took the 10-20 free newspapers in a rack outside the hotel corridor and mopped the rest up and ended up with a soggy newspaper ball the size of a medicine ball and no way to smuggle it out of reception so i dropped it out of the hotel window... without looking and it nearly hit a guy below - just glad he didnt report me to the hotel otherwise i would have been busted and the amazing thing is the hotel never reported it to my boss and neither did the burned seats in the patrol car - amazing i got away with it actually.
That story actually got published as a true disaster story and earned me £100 but i left out the fact i was a police officer at the time!
I know it sounds fantastical but my life has been rather unusual i could go on there are crazier disaster than that but hopefully that will give you another laugh tomorrow hehe
I love Norfolk. Normally stay around Hemsby. Plenty of good beaches and plenty of attractions near by. The Norfolk broads also worth visiting.
My friend is currently in Cornwall
And looks a great place
Just wish I could holiday in the UK
