"Borat 2" Looks Very Promising

In the News

It'll be available on October 23 on Prime Video.

May not be as good as the first one, but tons of laughs I'd bet. 😂

Not my kind of thing, I've never been a fan of the actor. I've seen bits of the first one but didn't find it funny.

PhilipMarc I loved that those guys answered, seriously that the democrats are more dangerous...and he is just so funny any ways...wants to make jokes from everything and all of the things have more than one meanings.

I'm not a fan of making fun of people who are not in on the joke. His type of humour is very manipulative and exploitative. I have Amazon Prime Video, but will probably skip this latest outing.

That reminds me, there's actually people who got offended about South Park's Token getting shot. They missed the joke completely and all they had to do was listen to what the cop said afterwards.

Besides, the point of South Park much like Borat is to offend people (if they can). Surprisingly, not a whole lot can really offend me these days.

There is a show that would probably offend me (because of how stale it's become) and that would be The Simpsons. lol

I really enjoy South Park and certainly not offended by it. Unlike South Park, which is very upfront and blunt in criticising others, some of Sacha Baron Cohen's films use devious and manipulative means to ridicule others. As Louis Theroux programs reveal, if you just set up a camera a lot of people are more than happy to say or do ridiculous or offensive things without much encouragement. You don't have to mislead them. I'm not offended by Sacha Baron Cohen. I just don't like that style of humour.

Loved the first one so fingers crossed it lives up to it.

It explains why there has been clips of him in the US up to his shenanigans in the past few months! The first one will be hard to beat, but I’m sure he’s stirred up plenty of trouble for this one also 😂

I watched it the other day and I ended up pretty darn disappointed.

It was too political and focused especially on one side (than two). And SBC seems to have forgotten what Borat's voice sounded originally.

Very underwhelming sequel, but despite that, the majority enjoyed it.

If I'd say if I were offended by something from Borat 2, it's how boring and tedious it was. It wasn't really offensive enough or shocking as the first one.

Enjoyed some of the original Borat but not all. Does make me a little uncomfortable but when the humour works it works very well. I won't go out of my way to see Borat 2 but will probably watch it eventually.

I watched it and some of the was funny and cringe. But it showed American citizens in such a bad light.

I watched the first Borat and absolutely hated it, just didn't enjoy it at all, not my type of thing. My husband watched the 2nd one and he enjoyed it but wouldn't watch it again.
