11 Year Old Boy, Caught Fish Weighing over 100lb in UK Waters - do you fish?

Ask a Question

I can't believe the size of this fish! it weighed a whooping 126lb, two and a half stone more than him. It was caught in a private lake near Manchester.

I am pleased to say it was caught and released as they are an endangered species.

Because I am sad, & know nothing and about fishing, I looked up some facts about the sturgeon - they can grow up to 20 ft. and weigh over 3,000 lbs. They are toothless.

What's the largest fish you have ever caught ?

I remember fishing with dad as a kid. At the end of a day on the pier we were about to pack up having had no luck, when I finally caught one. To say dad's nose was put out of joint was an understatement!
