Ann1984 thank you. I’ve not tried it because I thought it may make a mess and be combustible.

MelissaLee1963 I have quite a few large smelly candles but the colours are wrong for our decor. I didn’t want to bin them.

I have, the first time I tried it, was because it was a really expensive Sanctuary candle, where the wick burnt down, but there was half a candle left, now I do it all the time 🙂

beccatavender oh that’s good to know, I thought it was a hairbrained idea of mine.

I'm sure it's a good idea for recycling the wax . But what will be the result of several nice "pongs (scents ) " being mixed together ! The result might be nice, might be horrible ?

Yes you can. We used to do it with candles that only had a bit left in the jar. We used to make new candles out of the reminder of the old candles, got a new large candle, sometimes 2, out of it.

Pjran it is a new way of saving money to you and that's all that counts! We aren't allowed candles anymore so I save extra money now
