What's Your Favourite British Cheese?
Ask a Question
What's your favourite British cheese? And how do you have it - Snack/dish? Let me know
Mines always a nice strong cheddar. I try to find what’s on offer at the time though as it’s pricey. There are still loads of brands I haven’t tried and will love to try them all. Looking to find some smaller company’s like farm stores to try.
Good 'ol cheddar cheese in a sandwich or popped in some homemade pasties. Also I like Creamy soft cheese with some bread sticks as a snack.
I love a very strong cheddar but also one you can get with added flavours like garlic or cranberry made by small businesses I've got them a couple of times on holiday
Like Wallace and Gromit’s, my favourite is Wensleydale cheese with blueberries, can eat it by itself
Depends what mood I'm in. Either extra strong cheddar with crunchy bits in or a crumbly cheese like Wensleydale.
I think Cheddar is my favourite, I have it in sandwiches all the time. I also use it on jacket potatoes, with pasta, on crackers, etc.
It depends what I'm having, Cathedral City Mature Cheddar if I'm making macaroni or toastie, or grated Arran Smoked and White Cheddar mixed with a salad, Blue on a venison burger and I also like Red Leicester on it's own.
I think it has to be Stilton, which is very stinky. I do love cheddar also, especially the whiskey ones
just plain old cheddar for me. I can't stand anything too stinky or too strong. Cheddar is great in a sandwich or on its own
Probably a strong Blue Cheese, such as Stilton. Although, I can't think of a cheese that I don't like. With the possible exception of Casu Marzu, which I doubt I could get hold of even if I wanted to try it. Cheese can be added to almost anything - yum
