Brussels sprout shortage means they may be off the menu this Christmas
BRUSSELS sprouts grown in the UK could be off the menu this Christmas as heavy rain has caused a shortage.

Iโm sure I read the same thing every year about sprouts. Iv never struggled to get them yet
I agree with you, I saw a picture of one overturned sprout carrying lorry a couple of days ago and they said then that there could be a shortage. What rot! I've never had a problem getting my fill of sprouts either and I love them.
Hmmm....fake news? I saw so many of them in the supermarket and selling a pack for 40p or less....I do not even mind if we have none at all...
Oh dear. What a shame. They're horrible anyway. I don't get the attraction to them - what is there to like?
tumblespots cabbages are equally disgusting I don't mind a bit in a stir fry or something, but would never choose to eat it as a separate thing.
BEST NEWS EVER!!!! Those horrid little fart bullets are never a fun thing to have at christmas. I hate them, but have to eat them to "set an example" to my daughter
Why not leave them off the menu if you don't like them? I do agree about the 'wind aspect' though!
tumblespots because my husband likes them, and they're traditional torture on Christmas day
Iโm sure that news wIโll please lots of people, not me though as I love them. Yesterday I had mini kale which was the size of a small sprout and frilly looking, absolutely delicious with a roast. Iโm certainly going to try and find them in the supermarket.
I doubt we will have problems getting any, as Iโve seen so many in the supermarket, as no one seems to be buying them. And worse case scenario, Iโve noticed Iceland has some frozen ones, and some battered ones also
Wow, never heard of battered sprouts. I think I would prefer them unadulterated and they are plentiful around here - luckily for me.
