I personally have one Credit Card which recently try to down to 50 £. I have saving account , me and my partner have saving account toghether and everyone of us paid spesific bill. At the end both of us separate our costs. Today i was out with one girly pal and i do understand massive people did not have separate savings.

As well i have table with income and outcome and fill it every month.

These days I simply cannot budget at all. My money is in 1 hand and out the other. Even the bank sends me emails asking if I need help to budget, but won't give me an overdraft. We all need a little help sometimes. I shop online a lot as I find it cheaper and get it delivered. I am not a shopaholic, I'm just helping the economy lol.

I’ve always insisted on saving totalling the annual amount of mortgage and bills to be kept before splashing out on holidays.

Husband and I have a joint account. Both of our wages go into it and all the bills come out of it. If either of us wants to buy something we will tell the other so we know how much it costs. We have a savings account and we have a direct debit that goes into it every month. We have a credit card but have never used it so it has a zero balance. We know how much our mortgage and bills are every month so know what we have left after that comes out. We set a budget for the weekly food shop and a budget for everything else. We try to spend as little as possible and save as much as possible. The motto of our house is "every penny is a prisoner"

I have never had a credit card and I think that has helped me save through my lifetime. If I can’t afford it, I don’t buy it. If I save up for it, I sometimes realise i don’t need it.

I just keep a track of my finances day to day and then if i’m running low on money i just don’t buy anything that isn’t essential

I have my own current and savings accounts as does my partner, on pension day we each transfer set amounts into the joint accounts Savings (Christmas/Birthdays/House replacement items), DD account (Rent/Utilities/Council Tax/Subscriptions), Food account, this amount is put on whiteboard in kitchen and each shopping trip deducted so I always know how much I've left. I do a lot of yellow sticker shopping and put it in freezer. We don't have Credit Cards.

I use PayPal very.com/ and amazon credit and clearpay to buy things I can't afford and pay off slowly
