Is it Worth it to Buy Used-Looking Adidas Trainers for £170?

Ask a Question

Spotted Adidas are selling these Ultraboost Running shoes for a whooping £170 that look ready for bin in my humble opinion.

I suppose it wouldn't make any difference if they got dirty but no I wouldn't pay that much for any trainers my partner worked for Adidas and they had a sale on at his Wearhouse we got over a thousand pounds worth of stuff for £117

Some people are far more interested in the brand - Adidas - and they don't care about the cost or condition of the footwear.

I don’t think id pay £170 for trainers these days anyway but definitely not for those. Ultra boost are very comfortable but i can muddy them myself

I wouldn’t pay that much for any pair of trainers- but some people are incredibly label orientated. Trainers tend to clean up quite easily too. There are always loads of tips online about how to clean trainers

Trainers are made from such low cost materials, like plastic, rubber and basic fabrics. They come out of factories in places like Bangladesh for only a couple of dollars per pair and yet you see them retailing for hundreds of pounds sometimes. I think the most I've ever paid for trainers was £30.

I would never pay that amount of money for any footwear, certainly not for ones that look already worn.
