TBH I don't really blame him, as I would gladly set up shop in a hotter, more exotic country that has tax breaks

But I bet he won't be passing any savings onto his customers!

I think the decision is largely made due to trying to tap into the Asian market, which is the biggest growth market in the world right now. There are a lot of people in that part of the world, so if just a small percentage start buying Dyson products, he is going to make some serious money.

He will still be employing a lot of people in the UK, and has said he does not plan on stopping that, in fact he plans to increase the number of UK employees.

yes, I read that too, and they will buy Dyson in Asia as it is a well respected, recognised brand. Good to know he is still employing locally - and it would be even better if he asked if people were willing to relocate 😜

Sign of the times. Uk buying cheaper products and far east buying dearer products. UK first world not any more.
