I'm a bit obsessed with candles, I have far too many. Home bargains do large jar candles for £2.99 they give off a good scent for the price. TK maxx is great for picking up candles, look in the clearence sections I often pick them up for £3 or £4. Aldi do Jo Malone jupes that are meant to be good but I haven't personally tried them. My fav are Yankee candles. I adore the crackling wood fire scent.

Our own candle company jar candles are amazing.

Hi Grace, i've bought lots of candles for my home. Bought 8 from Sainsbury's when they were reduced and 6 from TK Maxx. Also bought some from Home Bargains at reduced prices.

I am afraid I can't answer your question as I don't buy them anymore, I have so many. I keep them in the event of a power cut but don't use after reading articles about the health implications.

I buy Harper's Candles online, best I have ever had and I've had loads. The scent is beautiful and lasts right to the end of the tin. They have a great sense of humour on their site too. I also love Sheffield Candle Company, they do a dark coffee scent and it's amazing. I won't buy cheap candles or Yankee anymore as the scent throw isn't as good, especially in a large room

nicolajaynehend they're scented granules, sometimes called sizzlers. You just tip them out of your burner when done. I get mine from 2 places, Corkees and Clarke's Fusions

As I read this I’m looking at 4 candles burning. I’ve stopped buying expensive ones from John Lewis for myself, only buy those as gifts but rarely to be honest. Bought one for nearly £30 as a gift at Christmas but I make do with the cheaper ones not necessarily perfumed as I’m content with the soft glow.

I’m not a fan myself, but my cousin buys the one from Aldi that’s a dupe of Jo Malone. It does last a long time
