Carpet Length

Hi guys stupid question maybe but ordered a carpet and length is 5m by 4.8m does that mean the roll will be 5m long?? seems really long worried it may not get in the house lol Does this seem right? TIA

Does it matter? It will be 5m one way or the other! 5m is just over 16 foot but carpets can be bent and cut to size.

sorry what I meant was wondered if it would be bent or the full length as area its coming into is only 14ft long! may try phoning again or am I going to sound really stupid 不

Well usually it can be manoeuvred around doorways etc but I guess it will be delivered one length but may have to bend to get in. If they are fitting they will be used to problems like this but if they are delivering only it could be a problem.

It will either be 5m or 4.8m if they have rolled it. I have seen some people fold carpet to transport but then it creases. If its for the living room and youve got double glazing you could always take the window out (thats how we get big pieces of furniture in and out) 不
