Celebrating by Smashing an Ambulance Windscreen ? Opinions ... Football
News
we are all aware that the World cup is happening in Russia and our Young team are still in the last 4 after another win yesterday ... Yes the whole of the country
was watching, none football supporters, young kids , families and girls who usually argue with their fellas for watching the match when they want to watch love island or coz corrie not on .I admit ! am a football fanatic nd both myself and my hubby both being classed as disabled have been able to watch every match , I can understand the none football fans jumping on the bandwagon and sitting in the public places with their family watching the big screens provided and the gangs of couples boys n girls going out as 1 large gang instead as two .. this is to show our country is united by these sportsmen .. What I dont get is the people who are dancing on police vans roofs .. and a young girl shown in the paper jumping on a ambulance roof and then sowing pics of the windscreen smashed .. the roof caved in the doors kicked and the ambulance wasnt allowed to go to the incident it was attending ... Is this supposed to be a time of celebration ? is this how the people of today celebrate ? dont they realise how much those vehicles cost and our NHS is a struggling entity in this time when we are struggling as a country and we are fighting to keep it.. am i going over the top when i say watch the video of a person dancing on the roof of a police car in Russia and that person is thrown to the ground n hit with batons off 2 yes 2 police ? treat them how they deserve ... no wander this country has a bad reputation with football fans ... written with pride abuot our team and anger about some of our fans
Sadly I think yesterdays unsavoury incidents were a mixture of a good football result, the time of the match meaning people would be spending most of Saturday in the pub or elsewhere drinking, and the fact it was another lovely summers day. I Just don't get why at no point this girl (and the others) thought jumping up and down and wrecking a paramedics fast response vehicle was acceptable behavior. I also blame the countless other people who simply stood there filming the incident on their phones rather than shouting at them to get the F*&^ off and grow up.
ive just seen more videos of the destruction around the country and i find it totally pathetic of people ... but i blame the justice system too .. why because they will get a small fine n a slap on wrist ... its sad im all for people having fun n celebrating but if thats what they determine about having fun and having a good time id sooner stay at home and be what people probs identify me as a bore ... I bet the lads in Russia are so happy to be still in and maybe bringing the most prestigious sporting trophy home but i bet their hearts sink when they see towns n cities being totally disrupted .. pubs have been smashed up think they gone loopy in head . thanks for your response blacklabrador
It’s just downright shameful - in addition, I read online that an ikea got trashed after the final goal went in What kind of sportsmanship is that? These antics almost show as if we don’t deserve to have anything good.
on the other hand, you have the clean and respectful Japanese team who I’ve certainly appreciated seeing this year - they may not be great football players, but that may be some kind of higher level humanity being displayed for this sport (opposed to the hooliganism we are used to)
Yup agreed they stopped behind in the stadium n helped to clean . Been so respectful .it's shameful at times admitting I'm English . If my kids did this even now ones 27 n others 23 I'd hang them upside down n give them best spanking of their lives x ty for you input x
jojowane67 lol indeed, it certainly seems like a lot of people need a good spanning these days just to get some sense into them!
