Change the Lyrics (Christmas Songs, )

Other

When I was at school we would often change the lyrics to a song (thinking it really funny singing them along with rest of class singing correct words ). Share your incorrect lyrics with us today .

Here's on of the songs we would sing and one of the ones I can remember.

Jingle bells,

Batman smells,

Robin lay an egg,

The bat mobile lost its wheel

All on Christmas day.

Oh jingle bells...........

LOL

It's only one word misheard to Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose , OLIVE the OAF and reindeer used to laugh and call him names

Tom I ate all the "freaking pudding" then "decked the halls with BRAS and holly" and "the very next day I sold it(the fart) on eBay " lol . Trying to use the misheard lyrics in my reply the best I could. 🤔

St3v3cunn1961 well you did well to use them to construct a sentence, lol . Whenever I try to do something like that it doesn't make sense to anyone but me , lol

"Frosty the snowman was a very happy soul, with a corn cob pipe and a butt on his nose .....and a broom in his head ." Lol

Very strange looking snowman I believe

I'm wondering how many of us will be having a family get together over Christmas and singing songs around the fire /Christmas tree or wherever you choose for singing Christmas songs. I hope you all remember the correct lyrics and don't end up singing the ones we are sharing here . Lol . Be some very funny sing a longs .

petekid1952 wouldn't it be nice if families did that these days, I don't know any who do. Even group games are no longer popular, each person seeming to prefer lone games on pc, phone, Xbox etc.

Lynibis I know it's such a shame ppl don't do this anymore. We used to always play a board game after Christmas dinner(normally the new one we received for Christmas). On Christmas day we would wake up very early to see if Santa had been (I was very good all year so he had been) then I had to wake up my parents as I couldn't open presents until they were there . We would all be awake before 6 in morning. Then it was breakfast and we would spend all day together (wasn't allowed out on Christmas day. Just time with family)

petekid1952 that sounds so lovely, kids today don't know what they are missing, and not just at Christmas😊

Lynibis I think a lot of ppl feel that way because it's all about who spends the most money and gets the most presents, not the family memories that should be being made . It's such a shame because I've seen many comments on here about memories from Christmas and the majority are nothing to do with how many presents ppl had .

Lynibis I know it's like everything is about money but memories last much longer than any material thing . It's a shame ppl don't realise because when they look back they won't have any memories

Saving money never fails

A sleigh ride so grand,

Cheap prices in demand

I thought I'd take a go

At finding bargains galore

On a shopping spree

Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Saving money never fails
