Where to Get Cheap Toffee?
Ask a Question
A couple years back many supermarkets did cheap toffee bags around 25-30p around 250g I think but no one seems to be selling that now. Anyone know of a shop still selling low price toffee? Even the £1 Thornton bags have disappeared pretty much.
Tried the Asda 90p toffee bag yesterday and to be honest it wasn't that great the toffee wasn't as nice as the older harder toffee many supermarkets used to sell. Aldi used to sell a 62p bag about 6 months ago and that was great but they never have stock anymore. I think that was sourced from Walkers (not the crisp company).
I'm more into toffee than chocolate but toffee doesn't appear to be that popular nowadays.
jam45 I wish I had a Heron's shop around here but I don't think they are down in the south west. I'll have to check more thoroughly at B&M and Farmfoods as I do use those shops but can't remember seeing plain toffee there.
lucky77777 I do go to Tesco's a fair bit but its a huge store in Yeovil and maybe I missed it. I'll have a better look next time.
