Cheap Ways to Keep the Children Entertained This Easter

I know it's early but on the back of half term which has just cost my sister a fortune to keep my neices entertained for a week I'd like ideas of cheap/free days out eats etc. Any ideas welcome :-)
Take a picnic, put your wellies on, and head for the bottom of the hill to dam the stream.

Also painting hard boiled eggs, not too big a layout and they can be eaten! Get them making homemade Easter cards for family and friends. A bit of spends on card and glue but decorate with bits of ribbon, glittery buttons, old junk jewellery broken down.
Bake an Easter cake with them.
And what about a good old Easter bonnet parade with their friends? Arrange a date and place in local park and meet up for the parade then have a picnic and play games like rounders.
