Chicco Swing Relax&Play

Ask a Question

Has anyone bought this product and managed to build it without the swing falling out of the legs? The instructions have been followed but the small clip in attachment always falls out. This is referee to as F in the manual.

If it keeps falling out then send it back and ask for a refund. Last thing you want is for it to fall out when the baby is in it and get injured.

MrsCraig I bought it earlier this year I should still have the receipt but I threw away the box. I’m definitely not comfortable putting my baby in it after I brushed past it and the left arm detached and the bits in step 5 keep falling out. I’ve watched people on YouTube build there’s but they skip this step or only insert one of the 3 items.

It’s just frustrating but I appreciate your response I will give it a go.

Nie some places still accept returns of items without the original box, especially if it is faulty. It is worth a try.

MrsCraig I will have a look for the receipt or I can give them the date and time to search for my purchase and throw in my statutory rights……. Or watch some Martin Lewis beforehand.

Do you have any recommendations for a bouncer? I thought I would spend a bit more money this time looking at mamas and papas.

We had the Fisherprice Woodsy Friends Bouncer Chair, which our son absolutely loved. He was able to use it from birth. If you want something for when they are a little older and you have the room then the fisher-price jumperoo is pretty good. We didn't go overboard with baby stuff, our living room wasn't that big! We loved his fisherprice bouncer chair and he had a redkite playgym which he adored.

MrsCraig Mostly something that's easy to assemble, i bought this product for £35 with a clubcard instead of £70 and i thought it was a bargain but i will look around and read the reviews before i purchase anything else.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Nie the Fisher-price bouncer chairs are definitely easy to put together. I think it was about £30 but that was 5 years ago so I imagine it is more expensive now.

So I clearly can’t built baby stuff or read instructions 😂 someone gave it a go and it worked first time, I just didn’t apply enough force with the small clips. Nothing tried nothing gained.

Thank you once again I guess I will ask for opinions here before buying anything else.
