It's to protect you so that companies can't get your data automatically.

I would you would have thought that this would be a good thing? Or are you happy with people just getting your info without consent?

TheChimp Privacy? You'd have to not use a smartphone nor a computer to actually have privacy and even then it wouldn't mean much.

On PC, I just have an add-on that automatically takes care of cookies.

I agree, it would be nice to have a look around first before deciding whether to give consent or not.

It is annoying, but due to UK/EU law companies have to ask for user consent on their websites. I haven't tried it, but if you use a VPN, one possible way of avoiding cookie pop-ups is setting your 'location' to a country that has different Cookie legislation.

I've noticed recently a number of websites that run competitions are compelling prospective entrants to sign-up for all of the Cookies. Otherwise, the entry form won't appear. Which is unfortunate, as I usually only sign up for Essential Cookies.

I like the cookies as I like my cashback to track, so just accept unless it is from somewhere I never shop.

The browser I use on PC heavily cleans up how I view websites since it blocks ads, bypasses cookies, hides elements, etc.. makes it cleaner.

If to use TCB, I use Chrome.

stuartsmith544 I don't mind rain too much, it's actually kinda nice to see it.

Wouldn't have minded snow considering it's winter, but it's uncommon.

Btw, my main browser is Brave, I left that out.
