Christmas Cards
Ask a Question
I was amazed when I opened my post on Saturday and found 2 Christmas cards. It was the 16th November!! Does anyone else find this odd or do you post yours this early? I'm very grateful for their wishes but my husband cracked up when I said I will have lost them by Christmas (probably because he knows its true, me and putting things in safe places never works, I always either forget where the safe place is or that I have something in a safe place.)
Way to early for xmas cards lol i only hand out a handful over the holidays and only to close family and friends.
I can't believe someone would send a Christmas card nearly 6 weeks before the event. Imagine getting a birthday card that early. I mean there's planning ahead and there's planning ahead!
Far too early for cards! In my opinion Christmas cards should be posted after the first week of December.
Janhrrs it is technically his 2nd as he was 5 weeks old last Christmas, but he slept the majority of the day! This is the first one where he will actually notice the tree and the lights and listen to the music. Plus we were all a bit gloomy last year, this year is much more positive.
I don't really bother with Christmas cards so much anymore, only really for family that live far away and a very few friends, but even so these get sent/given a week or two before Christmas ideally
That's too early. I dont actually like receiving cards i always feel as tho your expected to 'display' them & I just view them as clutter . So the later the better. Certainly not until Dec.
It's not right sending cards before advent has started, no one is that busy that it has to be crossed of your list that early.
Sorry but that is just all kinds of wrong! This year I shall be doing a 'Great Thunberg' and sending no cards thus helping the environment and saving a few £££s.
