What are yours if you have any? We always play Christmas music and drink alcohol while putting up the decorations.
Yep, have to have Christmas music blaring when the tree and decs go up.
And the mulled wine flows too.
And for reasons that none of us can remember, we have an Indian takeaway on Christmas Eve.
I suspect it's because nobody wants to cook.
We have a Christmas eve rule of only using microwave for tea. I do the cooking for Christmas on Christmas eve so we can all spend the whole day together
A bottle of baileys we have 1 glass with Christmas dinner and I put little in coffee afterwards
One Christmas tradition we had was having Christmas, and all mention of it, in December. We usually reserved October for late summer holidays.
People may want something to look forward to this year David, especially as they probably didn’t get any summer holiday!
gerrykelly25 Many people don't like Christmas and don't look forward to it, about the only ones almost certain to like it are the divorce lawyers, when they reopen after the Christmas break they're almost overwhelmed with PAYING customers. . . that should indicate what a joyous time it is for many, family breakups are becoming almost traditional.
Not a lot of people know that!
My family isn't very festive, I am usually the one thinking of nice things to do around Christmas and Halloween
