Ask a Question
I'm looking for recommendations for Christmas presents for boys aged 17 and 18 who don't like football , sports , gift sets , only wear certain non branded clothes and shoes I'm going absolutely spare trying to find age appropriate gifts please help
Crazygal Tesco currently have 20% off some of the gift cards they sell
How about a phone/console controller holder? Google “cable guys phone holder” and lots of different ones come up.
I only Give Presents to the little ones and for the older Grandchildren I always ask if they want me to buy something specific or would they rather have the Money and they always choose the Money Same goes at Easter I always ask if they want Easter Eggs or the Money to Buy what they want and I have never Bought them Easter Eggs because they have always had a choice even when my Granddaughter was 2 years old she has always chosen the Money, and My eldest Grandson usually lets me know what Aftershave he prefers, No point giving him money he would give it right back Because he Works and has his own money,
smithpoppy303 the 18 year old is autistic so is quite hard to buy for but I usually give them money for birthday but at Christmas I want them to have something to open
Crazygal What about a watch. It’s hard when they get beyond 12, and just as hard when you have Adults to Buy for, My old Boss Buys me gifts every year and always says not to buy her anything back But I always buy her something because I don’t like not paying back, We’ve been friends for years now and still I never know what to get
smithpoppy303 it's always difficult at Christmas not knowing what to buy for adults x
Give them a gift card or money that way they can buy something they want. Or ask if there is anything that they want.
MrsCraig I used to ask if there was anything specific they wanted but only my youngest son and my Granddaughter would let me know, The others including my Grandsons would always say not to buy them anything, ( as if they didn’t want anything )
Christmas Krispy Kremes and a bit of money My brother is 26 and I never know what to buy as he doesn't want for much but they always go down a treat.
boepeep Krispy Kreme donuts are delicious, but I'd rather save that money for something else.
PhilipMarc True! But I never know what else to buy him and there's no local Krispy Kreme store locally. Order them online and they're gone by boxing day. Money worth spending.
Crazygal What about Kits that you Build something like this or something you don’t need to glue
smithpoppy303 omg I've not seen this stuff for years they used to have this kind of stuff to help with their cognitive skills x
Crazygal that on its own is £10 on Amazon or two for just under £16 on Amazon
Crazygal You are welcome, I am still having trouble uploading deals otherwise I would have put the deal on
As well as other presents I used to make my children their own mini food hamper with all their favourite treats in it. This was a mixture of sweet and savoury. But it was all theirs.
eyeballkerry omg that is such an amazing idea I would never have thought of doing something that great thank you for your help x
What about an experience gift voucher and he could choose what experience he would like to do .
How about indoor Skydiving www.iflyworld.co.uk/discover-ifly/discover-indoor-skydiving/
