Christmas Wrapping

Ask a Question

what do you all do with your christmas paper- do any of you keep to reuse? I hate all the waste and use as little as I can πŸ˜€ Image

What do you think of this?

No, I don’t save Christmas wrapping paper and I’m not sure our council take it to recycle. Last year I bought brown paper and made bows to make them look festive and this paper can be recycled.

As long as it has no glitter or metallic bits, you can recycle wrapping paper.

KirsteyJames Same ha i am the christmas wrapping grinch ! But otherwise we end up losing at least one child and the dog in a wrapping paper avalanche. Then the present gets lost and stepped on and if its Lego.....well no one wants to hear a christmas F bomb from Nanny.......! 🀣

I've heard of people using silk scarves or cut up pieces of sari to wrap gifts and reuse the wrapping. Not sure how doable it would be for everyone though.

I always stock up on wrapping paper in the boxing day sales and depends on the size of whats left over if its ripped into little bits then obviously no but if its big enough to wrap another present then ill keep it

I don't really buy presents or receive them but if we do its gift bags which we re use. If we do use wrapping paper I recycle it

When I was a child my mother wrapped our presents in old newspaper, comics pages, brown paper etc, with string or ribbon - it can look great with a bit of effort. The broadsheet papers are brilliant for larger gifts.
