Clever Ways to Irk Phone Scammers?

I don't really get any. I'd love to get a call from the IRS saying they have £1m for me but I need to pay £450 to get it.

I play along if I have time on my hands, my record for keeping one on the phone is 35 minutes, that ended in them saying that I was blacklisted from their office and will never be called again, followed by many expletives

I answer and say uh huh emmmm oh alot then pardon please repeat that i dont understand ermmmm ! Oh right so from the start can you explain it again. Dont very often get to that though before they hang up.
