Has Anyone Bought Clothes From Amazon?

Ask a Question

Has anyone bought any clothes from them?

Was thinking to get some new clothes and have a look on there.

I’m sure they are of good quality

I have before and the good thing is you get free returns so if you don’t like it just ship it back.

jms19 I didn’t know you can return these free, although I have my concerns over the sizing. Last top I looked at was one size but gave no measurements.

I have just bought a new winter coat for my daughter from Amazon and it’s excellent.

Weirdly though they sent me a £3 refund for no reason. I spoke to customer services and they said they automatically did this for customers who bought this item.

snoogans888 oh that is odd but lucky 🍀 you got £3 refund!! Was it sold and dispatched by them or by a third party seller?

kitty88uk it was sold and dispatched by Amazon. I have a feeling the £3 is just in case we wanted to return it and that would cover the postage costs. But it’s a great coat so we’re keeping it.

I just had to query the random refund with them as I know there are some Amazon scams going around.

What does the coat look like? Are you okay with posting a photo?

I've bought lots of stuff for my son and my husbands work shirts are Amazon essentials shirts. Everything I've bought has been good quality and well worth it.

I also buy my harem jumpsuits from here and eBay. As they are baggy I know they are going to fit and the prices are pretty good as well.

kitty88uk I have got quite a few of these, different colours and different patterns. Look the fact you wash them and they don’t need ironing. Great for holidays as they don’t crease either.

Buying clothes online is something I never do as I'd have to try it out, but nowadays I know my size of shirts and such is XL and pants 48 or 50 so I could do it if there was a really good deal.

PhilipMarc yeah I prefer seeinf he clothes in person myself lol I usually buy my clothes reduced from Sainbsury’s lol 😆 I don’t buy high street brands much too expensive

Sometimes I buy from M&S, I’m actually wearing a nice big Snoopy jumper I got in Xmas sales think from 2 years ago lol can’t remember the price but it was reduced to £13!

I keep wearing same old clothes and decided to finally wear it lmao 🤣

kitty88uk I also wear the same clothes until they no longer fit or they've just become too damaged to wear. Recently, I donated all my M/L sized clothes as I didn't use them anymore and were taking up space.

I hope those clothes don't go to waste as they were really good.

Usually wear a thin one then wear a jumper over it and also a fleece jacket 🧥 haha

Not clothes but i bought a car stereo from Amazon two months ago and fitted it myself

It worked ok but the on off button was a bit temperamental , i never complained

I then got a message from the seller asking me my opinion on it and to rate it

I said it was ok but mentioned the button problem

They replied saying they were a small company and wanted their customers to be satisfied

and said they would despatch another and to keep the old one

It came within 4 days , very happy with the service and the stereo

Always hated trying clothes on in shops, used to try on odd occasion in New Look,Dorothy Perkins Asda etc but prefer to try in comfort of my home as I'm self conscious.

Started buying from Roman online on odd occasion for last two years & been really happy with the dresses, jackets, trousers & tops, delivered to my door, fitted perfectly & codes sent with 15% or 20% off,Sale items reduced too.

I have had compliments off my family & friends too !

There is a Roman shop in Leeds near our Student Radiographer daughter's rented flat & she has said she is going to take me the next time I come up to visit her..

kitty88uk ...I went into Roman when I was doing Shadow Shifts ,the service users needed new clothes as they were going on a Cruise around Norway so the regular staff took them to the Roman Originals shop at Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre near Mosbrough in Sheffield not far from their home & I went too,the Roman staff were brilliant with our 2 wheelchair bound old ladies ,couldn't do enough for them.

I saw some nice inexpensive clothes but never went back as it's other side of our city from where I live.

A few years ago Roman Originals came up on the Ads on my phone so I decided to try them out & bought a dress,it fitted me perfectly, wasn't over priced ,I got FREE delivery to my door too so now I just order from there as well as going into shops to buy clothes..
