What is the best Instant Coffee?
Other
I love my coffee and I was just wondering what you thought about instant coffee and what is the best to try.
I love coffee, but hate the faff of cleaning out a cafetiere, so drink instant. I like Douwe Egberts Pure Gold Instant Coffee or Kenco Rich or Smooth Instant Coffee, it depends of which one is on offer.
Pfs I've only tried Carte Noir Decaffeinated Coffee and it was the best instant decaf I tried, so I would imagine their normal coffee is equally good.
We buy the Lidl or Aldi dupe of Nescafe Azera. My husband, mum and mother in law, who all love their coffee, think it is brilliant.
Kenco Millicano or Nescafé Azera.
Only buy it when it's on offer because the normal price is just stupid.
I've never bought a supermarket brand as my late mother used to buy some dodgy coffee and put me off, my favourite is Douwe Egberts Dark Roast.
I had a coffee, not instant but a specialty coffee called Kopi Luwak that is digested by, fermented within, and then excreted by the Asian palm civet, a small animal local to asia
My brother brought it back from vietnam when he was on holiday
It is very expensive to buy, even over there, and is absolutely delicious, one of the smoothest and tastiest coffees i have had
Pfs I haven't seen that one for ages P, but i agree
I won a tin of Kenco Millicano several years ago and haven't gone back to other coffees since. Like mentioned above only get it on deal - as you can usually get it for roughly £2.50 100g tin. We get ours from Amazon as subscription which was £12.70 for 6 tins back in March but is now at £17.21 - quite a jump! Its also no longer on sale on Tesco online this week! (at our branch anyway)
I love Nescafe's Alta Rica, it is full flavoured without being bitter. I always stock up when it's on offer.
So funny James Hoffmann coffee expert testing Supermarket Instant Coffee - Which One Tastes Best?
& with loud slurping noise.
Nescafe Gold caramel latte with Nescafe Gold cappucino. I drink just over a third of a cup and top it up with vanilla shaken udder later on.
