Do You Consider Soup Noodles a Snack or a Meal?
Ask a Question
I’d happily have the likes of ramen, pho and laksa as a meal. However, I do not consider the pot noodles they sell in supermarkets a meal, not even the fancier versions by Itsu
I consider pot noodles a quick easy meal when i’ve got no time or cant be bothered cooking for one if my partner is out.. but he would consider it a snack even with bread on the side he also says soup is a hot drink and not food...
Lol I think I’d agree with that. Soup may be something to have when you’re ill and have no appetite, so not a meal on its own
Pot noodles would be a snack although i don't eat it. Any proper homemade noodles like laksa definitely a meal. Yum
I would never eay a pot noodle. Tried them and they are gross. If I do use dry noodle packs then it is still a meal as I add veg and meat to the soup base. Most often I use the "wet" noodles as they taste much nicer.
Yes I definitely prefer it when you dress it up with fresh ingredients, and you definitely can’t beat freshly pulled noodles. Yummy
pot noodles are definitely a snack, not that i would eat that artifical crap, proper noodles would be a meal imo
It's just fast food, really. Gets the job done but you'll be feeling hungry again because it only filled you up for a moment.
Noodles are deffo a bedtime snack would never give kids pot noodles as a meal as to me it need veg to be a meal not enough to fill them for a few hours
If you're talking Pot Noodle then I consider them an artificial tasting snack that you regret once you eaten it. That said, I am partial to to Soba's Yakitori noodles and I absolutely refuse to calculate the 'prepared per 100gms' equation on the pot.
