Have You Had a DIY Accident in Lockdown?
Ask a Question
Was out walking my dog today and I see many people doing DIY projects involving ladders and electrical equipment. Some of these people are the older generation and I do worry for their safety. Have you had any DIY disasters since lockdown?
eyeballkerry to be honest I did bit of an 'ow' at the time and it was only when I came in the OH said what's that blood on your trainer. I don't do blood and almost passed out when they took my trainer off
I was just like 'stick a plaster on it, it will be fine' whilst blood was dripping everywhere.
I was trying to fix our dishwasher and in pulling it out broke off one of it's legs
It's now propped up with some random bits and bobs I found around the house!
I pulled our cooker out to replace the element as I didn't want someone coming in the house during lockdown. I slid it out carefully and got it onto the floor flat, ready to take the back off. I felt all proud of myself and at that moment, the door fell open onto my bare foot. Badly bruised toe...
Yes and my nose is now bumpy, sore and still has a scar at the moment but there was no way I was going to a hospital!
